International Calling Plans We have the lowest rates for making international calls. Sorry. Nobody can afford to provide unlimited international calling for a flat rate. Each country has their own rate plan for interfacing with their national telephone network, so flat rate unlimited international calling is not possible. If you want to see our discount long distance plans, make sure the "Direct Dial" box is checked. If you want to see Voice over IP (Internet) calling plans make sure the "Voice Over IP (VOIP)" box is checked. Please select the region of the world you will be calling and press the "Perform Calculation" button to see the discount rates to that area.
International Phone Rates
Calling internationally using your cell phone will be expensive. You will likely pay well over $1.00 per minute calling to or from most European countries.
When you are travelling, you will do much better using an international calling card. Rates from Germany, the United Kingdom and most other countries to the US are less than 20 cents per minute.
When you are home, there are many low cost options including direct dial, dial-arounds, calling cards, and Voice over IP (Internet phone).
But, watch out some calling cards that have extra charges.
- Some cards have an expiration date. Funds left on an expired card are lost.
- Some cards have a maintenance fee. Some maintenance fees are charged weekly, some monthly. This essentially increases the effective per minute rates.
- Some cards are pre-paid and cannot be "re-charged". This means that some amount of money left on a card cannot be used because you would not have enough left for a good conversation.
Our international providers have no extra charges. See your savings now. Flat Rate Long Distance
If your combined in-state and state-to-state long distance charges are more than $30 a month, or you closely watch the second hand during your calls... ...there are several options you ought to consider. - Z-Tel Communications If you are interested in a flat rate for unlimited local and unlimited long distance you ought to consider Z-Tel Communications. For one low rate (depends on your state) you call call anyone locally or nationwide and talk as long and as often as you want.
Z-Tel Communications will replace both your local and long distance providers. - Voice over IP is the latest trend is low cost long distance. If you have broadband Internet, you ought to consider using Voice over IP technology.
